Though comfortable in a number of mediums, woodworking has become my primary means of creative expression. The unique grain patterns and colors, natural edges and inclusions are works of art in their own right. Much of what I create is based on what I see occurring naturally.
I draw my inspiration from many sources. I am ever fascinated by architecture, geometry and ancient civilizations... Music, People, places & things!
My constructions are more explorations than re-creations.
I enjoy maintaining a certain degree of abstraction. Through abstraction, I am able to lean towards the infinite rather than be held within the confines of specifics.
